2023 Lexus RX Model Lineup

The all-new 2023 Lexus RX will be offered in six grades, including two all-new grades called the RX Premium+ and RX F SPORT Performance. The other grades remain the RX 350 Standard, RX Premium, RX Luxury, and the RX F SPORT Handling. A plug-in hybrid RX 450h+ model will also be available later.

All the grades are further divided based on their powertrain options and the availability of all-wheel drive (AWD), except the AWD-only hybrid and RX 350 F SPORT models.

The full 2023 Lexus RX model lineup consists of the following models:

• RX 350h AWD (Hybrid)
• RX 350 Premium FWD/AWD
• RX 350h Premium AWD (Hybrid)

2023 Lexus RX Has a Powertrain for Everyone
The 2023 Lexus RX will offer four different powertrain options to help meet its owners’ diversified needs and lifestyles, including an all-new PHEV engine.

The Standard RX 350 FWD/AWD will serve as the core model and pack a responsive 2.4L turbocharged inline-4 gasoline engine. So do the other non-hybrid grades, namely, the RX 350 Premium FWD/AWD, RX 350 Premium+ FWD/AWD, RX 350 Luxury FWD/AWD, and the RX 350 F SPORT Handling AWD. This engine churns out 275 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque and comes equipped with an 8-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The hybrid RX 350h AWD, RX 350h Premium AWD, RX 350h Premium+ AWD and RX 350h Luxury AWD feature a fourth-generation large-capacity fuel-efficient hybrid system with a high-torque 2.5L inline 4-cylinder engine that makes 246 horsepower and 233 lb-ft of torque.

The first-ever RX 500h F SPORT Performance AWD model debuts a new hybrid electric system with a front unit that integrates a high-torque 2.4-liter turbo engine, six-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission, inverter, and an electric motor. It also features an eAxle rear unit that integrates a high output electric motor, inverter, and reduction gearbox. This new configuration allows the electric motor to provide up to 366 horsepower and 406 lb-ft of torque for improved performance and quick acceleration. As for the RX 450h+ Plug-in Hybrid, Lexus is yet to share its engine details.
