I was extremely disappointed by my recent experiences with the service department, not once, but twice.
The latest issue centered around obtaining a loaner vehicle while my vehicle was being serviced. I had misplaced my physical driver’s license after returning from an international trip, but I provided a photo of my license along with my valid U.S. passport. Tennessee recognizes digital driver’s licenses, yet the dealership refused to accept anything other than a physical license card.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at this Lexus dealership. I had an 11:00 a.m. appointment for an oil change and diagnostic, and somehow the dealership still managed to keep my car for over 24 hours. The only issues addressed were the oil change, the diagnostic, and a gas cap replacement. That is an unacceptable amount of time for such minimal work.
When I asked whether they would offer any sort of discount or make things right because of the excessive delay, they refused outright. Even worse, the manager was rude, dismissive, and smart-alecky about the whole situation.

I took my car in for the 60k mile servicing. I asked if I could get the carpet vacuumed as well since they would be keeping the car overnight. I dropped it off Friday morning and returned Monday mid-morning to retrieve it. I was totally disappointed after receiving my car back and it not being cleaned. I was told that service would also run it through the wash bay as well. Unfortunately, only the 60k mile servicing was done. At this point, they probably didn't even do that either. I've post trust in this dealership.
Excellent service! My car looked brand new! Courteous and professional. Did not have to wait long to drop it off; quick pickup!

We didn’t receive the results of the 21 point inspection. I called our service rep and left a message but still no response a week later.
Before our service was finished, Monte told us that we needed brakes and a spark plug change. I told Monte we didn’t have any time to wait that day. When we went to his office to check out, my husband began to sit down and he said you don’t have to seat I have your paperwork. He didn’t have time to go over the estimate for the brakes or spark plugs. Will not attempt to sit at his desk again.
Recently, I was in to have my key fob programmed. There were issues because the fob I had didn’t fit my car. Cooper went out of his way to help me clear up the situation. He was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about how to handle the situation. I was very impressed!

Joey promptly took care of myLexus LS 500. The tire was flat and was replaced with a new tire. I have the Tire Warranty package. I am very impressed with the Service Department at Memphis Lexus, since I had always owned Cadillacs for the past 33 years. I absolutely love my LS 500 and love this Lexus dealership !!!

Stephen was professional and knowledgeable. He answered my questions and was patient because I am not tech savvy. I would recommend him to everyone.
Sales experience was straight forward and honest. They did not try to add on items at the last minute. I think document fees are a rip off, but everyone in town does it. My main complaint is: Don't send a follow up email and say you are always available for help after the sale and then do not even respond to my questions. I guess once the salesman makes the sale, it's up to me to contact the service department for simple questions.
Strongly recommend this Dealership for vehicle purchases, as I have purchased multiple vehicle from them over the years, and my experience has always been good. My sales person, Gary Harber is great, easy to work with, and provided a great purchase experience!!! The service department is the best that I have every dealt with!!!
Lexus of Memphis has the finest Service Department I have ever dealt with. I've been a customer since 2000, working with Gary York and Mike McPherson. Their staff of Advisors, mechanics and technicians communicate well and are excellent in their work of preventive maintenance and repairs, when needed.
