Are the Engines Powerful?

Two engine options are available. The non-hybrid variants of the 2021 Lexus NX come with a 2.0L Turbo in-line 4-cylinder engine, and the hybrid ones boast a 2.5L In-line 4-cylinder engine with Lexus Hybrid Drive. While the 2.0L engine has a maximum output of 235 horsepower and 258 lb-ft torque, the 2.5L engine generates 194 net horsepower. The 2.0L engine uses a six-speed sequential-shift automatic ECT-I gearbox and the 2.5L engine powers the wheels of the Lexus NX through an ECVT system with paddle shifters.
